1. Introduction
NS Corporation (referred to as “we”) care about your personal data protection. This Notice explains how we process your data from the point we collect, use, share, dispose of and the security measure that we established to ensure your personal data is well protected.
2. Collection of Personal Data
2.1. We may collect the following personal data from you, including but not limited to:
a) Identification and background information such as full name, identification card/passport number, home address, nationality, and religion.
b) Contact details such as mailing address, phone number, mobile number, and email address.
c) Employment or business information including position, company details (name, address, registration number, business interests) in the course of business dealings with us.
d) Your image recordings when attending our corporate events.
e) Your resume or curriculum vitae when applying for employment.
2.2. When browsing our website, although no personal data is disclosed to us, some technical and statistical information may be obtained via our internet service providers, such as cookies, IP address, date, time, and browsing duration.
3. Source of Personal Data Collection
We may collect your personal data either from you, through your authorised representatives, from third parties, or from publicly available sources, which may include (but are not limited to):”
i. Written or oral communications;
ii. Information obtained from surveys, questionnaires, contests, offers, or internal promotions, whether conducted by us or through appointed third parties;
iii. Information from agreements or other documentation relating to your interactions with us;
iv. Information when initiating business relationships with us, including guest lists and business cards;
v. Information provided when you submit your Personal Data to us upon entering our properties and/or premises and/or when your image is captured by our CCTV cameras while you are within our properties and/or premises, or through photos or videos taken by us or our representatives during your attendance at our events;
vi. Information obtained when you visit or browse our website;
vii. Information submitted when applying for employment with us;
viii. Interactions with us via social media platforms or interactive applications, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram; and
ix. Other sources where you have authorized the disclosure of your personal data and/or as permitted by law.
4. Reason for Personal Data Collection
We may process your personal data for purposes necessary or related to our functions and activities, including but not limited to:
i. To promote, stimulate, facilitate, manage, and coordinate investments and economic sectors in Negeri Sembilan and all related matters, as well as to carry out any functions and powers conferred upon it by the State Government;
ii. to plan, prepare, manage and coordinate the economic blueprint and investment plan of Negeri Sembilan;
iii. to organize, mobilize, process and implement the planned economic blueprint and investment plan Negeri Sembilan;
iv. to advise the State Government in relation to the economic blueprint and investment plan in Negeri Sembilan;
v. coordinate the process of acceptance and implementation of new investments in Negeri Sembilan;
vi. review, evaluate and improve existing investments;
vii. for the purposes of investor relations matters;
viii. for purposes of entering into a business relationship with you;
ix. review, evaluate, improve, restore and rehabilitate abandoned and potential development projects in Negeri Sembilan;
x. manage, administer and operate any trust fund or trust account entrusted by State Government for investment and economic purposes;
xi. perform any functions or powers as provided under this Enactment or as directed by State Government from time to time.
xii. to establish your identity and background;
xiii. to conduct appropriate due diligence checks;
xiv. for enabling us to perform our obligations and enforce our rights under any agreements or documents that we are a party to;
xv. to enable you to provide goods or services to us or vice versa;
xvi. to assess and handle your job application;
xvii. in connection with any claims, actions, or proceedings (including but not limited to drafting and reviewing documents, transaction documentation, obtaining legal advice, and facilitating dispute resolution), and/or protecting and enforcing our contractual and legal rights and obligations; and/or
xviii. for any other purposes as required or permitted under the laws of Malaysia, regulations, guidelines, and/or by the relevant regulatory bodies.
5. Processing of Personal Data
We only process your personal data within Malaysia. Your personal data will not be transfer to any place outside Malaysia.
6. Disclosure of Personal Data
We may disclose your personal data to:
i. Government agencies, ministries, statutory bodies, enforcement agencies, and regulators (local or foreign) as required by laws or directives.
ii. any party in a legal proceeding or potential legal proceeding
iii. auditors, consultants, lawyers and accountants or any other professional advisers appointed by us on a strictly confidential basis;
iv. Our strategic partners, affiliates, and related companies (current and future);
v. Appointed third-party service providers, agents, and contractors engaged to perform functions on our behalf;
vi. Any other parties authorized by you or permitted by law.
7. Disclosure of Personal Data
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data:
7.1. Ensuring that your personal data is stored securely in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709). Where we disclose any personal data to authorised parties, they are required to adequately protect the personal data provided to them.
7.2. Ensuring that our employees do not misuse your personal data.
7.3. We will retain your personal data in compliance with this Notice and/or the terms and conditions of your agreement with us for as long as your relationship with us continues, for such period as necessary to safeguard our interests as deemed appropriate, unless otherwise required by law and/or for the purposes of our internal policies.
8. Personal Data Retention Period
Any personal data retained by us will be destroyed and/or deleted from our records and system in the event such data is no longer required for any of the purposes of which it is collected unless we are required to keep it longer pursuant to any legal or regulatory requirements.
9. Your Rights
9.1. You have the rights to:
i. Correct / update your personal data to ensure it is accurate, complete, and up to date.
ii. Access your personal data which we process and keep with us;
iii. Object our processing of your personal data;
iv. Withdraw / limit your consent for us to process your personal data.
9.2. You are responsible to provide us with complete, up-to-date and accurate personal data. You understand and acknowledge that we will process the provided personal data on an “as is” basis and you are responsible to notify us in writing if there are mistakes or changes to the provided personal date for rectification.
9.3. You may send the request for the purpose under para 9.1 and send the notification under para 9.2, in writing using the Contact Details below.
10. Complaint
Where you believe that infringement or misuse of your personal data has occurred, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your country. However, we would encourage you to contact us before making such complaint to the relevant data protection authority so that we are first given the opportunity to understand and resolve your concerns.

12. Changes of Update to Privacy Notice
12.1. We may update, revise, vary, amend and/or modify this Privacy Notice from time to time. Please check back frequently to see the latest changes or update to our Privacy Notice.
12.2. By providing your personal data, you consent to its processing in accordance with this Notice. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of any revisions.
13. Language
In the event of any inconsistencies between the English version and the Bahasa Malaysia version of this Privacy Notice, the Bahasa Malaysia version shall prevail.
